Five years ago Kathy published her book The Unsinkable Stone.  This inspiring book is an autobiography about growing up with a disability.  She wrote about her will to live life to it's fullest and her enjoyment of being with and helping others.  Kathy wrote about going on ocean cruises, going to high school dances , learning to do ceramics and her enjoyment of oil painting.  Today Kathy lives independently with her spiritual husband who also has a disability.  Their fully customized home in Waterford Wisconsin allows them to live a full and productive life.  Kathy has a small studio in her basement where she paints pictures to earn money for the little extras in life.  Kathy has very little control of her hands.  She paints with an adaptive helmet.  The helmet holds the brush so when Kathy moves her head the paint on the brush flows on to the canvas creating beautiful and unusual master pieces.

When you watch Kathy Stone-Kojis paint you may see a woman who has lived every day of her life with Cerebral Palsy.  Other people see a woman filled with ambition and a love for life.  Kathy may paint with her head, but the feelings of her heart come through in every painting she does.  The following collection of paintings are currently for sale.  Please sit back and enjoy Kathy’s talent with the paint brush.
