What are the risks
and the guarantees I get when I buy a 2011 share?
You are sharing in the risks that all farmers take. The risks of
flooding and drought. The risks of disease or pests killing the crop.
You’re risking a crop that looks great at 10 in the morning and stripped
of it’s leaves with a 4 o’clock hail storm. You are sharing in these
risks. Although we have never had a total crop loss it could happen.
However you are guaranteed Tom Kojis and his
staff will do there best to give you the very best tasting and
nutritious vegetables they can produce under their type of farming
practices. You are guaranteed to be helping keep the local farms from
disappearing. You are guaranteed to be helping the local food pantries.
(We donate the extra produce raised to local food pantries) You will be
guaranteed a big Thank You for helping a local, disabled couple, live in
the community and not merely survive.
